Discover your own #brilliance 🔻 🌿 👄 and spend time in your areas of brilliance 🔺 🌴 🌵 🔻 What mostly women I work along with at the Community Centre in Hackney have been experiencing as element of resistance to a positive change is lacking of enjoying themselves, knowing their own 💎 🌿 🔺 #brilliance. As much it happens that refugee and asylum-seeking women struggle in adapting themselves into another culture/country and letting go of their own memories, it does also for all of us. It is a natural consequence - something we all make an experience of - by identifying ourselves in a role/gender/income/social behaviour, etc. Activating a scheme of actions based on how brilliant we are at particular duty/area is absolutely more challenging than moving on by responding on outer people feeds/expectations/needs. Letting yourself express your talents means you will act by taking control of who you are and what's the level of integrity you chosen to give this #NOW into daily life. It may be that some of the coaches and counsellors being impractical when it comes to #DOING things that can really help, no easy to get real tips. You must be starting from setting clear boundaries, saying NO will empower your own nature. Loving who you are is a consequence of hanging out with your weirdness, and focusing on priorities, rather than having 6 things on your daily Todo-list and starting from the easiest - have 20 tasks and go for what feels like being out-of-your-comfort self now. Knowing your own brilliance starts from not caring about what other people think/say to you but just do what really makes you good and improving yourself. Just do that.
