So, our senior song for Chorale at graduation is You Raise Me Up.
The first time we practiced it, probably half of the seniors teared up, just at practice. This was about a month before graduation.
A few weeks ago, a student from our school was killed in an ATV accident. He was a freshman, and beloved to anyone that knew him.
So, last night, at our last concert, we preformed You Raise Me Up, while a slideshow of Devon was playing.
I didn't anticipate how hard it was going to be to sing.
I had to try really hard to keep it together.
Now, in ten days, I graduate high school, and we'll be preforming it after we walk.
I honestly don't think I'll be able to hold it together.
Between Devon, and the over all premise of graduating and leaving the people I've been with since Kindergarten..
It's going to be rough.
And, honestly, I'm kind of dreading it..
eh.
