Yesterday at 7:30am we said goodbye to Stella "Cow-Cow" Contreras. I did not want to love this old gal because she was an additional stress I didn't think we needed in our home, but I'm so glad Zeni brought her here because her life before us was trash. If we could make her last years happy and full of love then why not give her that. I grew to love her, especially when she would just come up to me at random times for some loving...it was always a great surprise because she only liked two places, outside and her room (more specifically her bed) so when she ventured out for lovin then it was special. Plus she used to steal Zeni and @irenepartypoison socks, haha sometimes she tried to take them off their feet but would up biting a toe. I will miss her but knowing she isn't suffering eases my heart. Zeni took pictures of Stella who is loving her new bed (under her blanket) we got her for Christmas... Of course I got it in Slytherin green. 💚🐍 She didn't even notice because she is half blind and Zeni says deaf but I say she has selective hearing. My most favorite little dog man is 6 years old today. In his short little life he’s survived doggie death row, a jump off a roof, 3 surgeries, chemo, radiation, and a curious incident where he hit his head and the muscle deflated and then grew back miraculously. But he’s also swam in the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean and Lakes of Glacier water, camped under the stars at the Grand Canyon, rolled in the dust at Bryce Canyon, sniffed the redwoods and the sequoias, and romped in the sand dunes in Oregon, Great Sands National Park, Death Valley, and Pink Coral Sand dunes...if he could talk, he’d have a lot of stories to tell. I love this guy to the moon and back. He’s my constant companion and best friend.
