Lion 2: The movie Almost skipped this episode because I remembered it being kinda boring But really its quite an endearing episode with some sweet moments First the gems trying to impress connie when they come back through the warp pad just makes me giggle But Connie and Stevens relationship in this episode is so sweet. They're exactly what the other needs. Connie is grounding for Steven, and she keeps him attached to the human world. She teaches him about her "Mundane" activities like tennis, and her love of books. And Steven loves it because of course he does. It's just as magical to him as what the Gems do. Steven is Connies sense of wonder and magic that she very much lacks in her day to day life. Her parents are so strict and overprotective that her sense of adventure is muted until she meets Steven. They bring out the best in each other, and learn from each other!! AND. They're both so insecure about sharing their lives with each other! They both think the other is going to judge them for the way they live their lives. But they love each other just the way they are!! Its so sweet. Oh and I guess roses sword and her weapon room is okay too. It's kinda neat how it reacts to Stevens thoughts and feelings. That's the boring part of the episode for me, pfff.
