My mom and I were chatting today (we do so often, she's one of my absolute favorite people, now that I've got a little perspective behind me, thank you age and grad school) and she has wanted a toy Aussie Shepherd for awhile and today I might have convinced her a Corgi was the way to go.
Because I fucking love Corgis. Best pal dogs, ever, hands down. They just want to be your bud, your friend, they want to do what you do. If that's go on long walks, they'll figure out how to keep up with you, short legs be damned. If that's hang out on the couch, they'll find the best place to lay and keep you warm. I just love Corgis, especially Cardigan Welsh Corgis because I love their tails! (Not to say I don't also love the Pembroke look, because that floofy butt is to die for, but the bottlebrush tails on the Cardigan ones are too good for me to pass up.)
