he also comes with a lot... of baggage. a relationship with him will not be easy, no matter what verse he's being written in. his trauma is a big part of his character, and his struggles with it, and obsessively seeking revenge- are things that cannot be changed no matter how hard anyone tries. he's not really good for soft, slice of life dynamics. his being a cyborg is also extremely important to my portrayal. outside of modern settings- his body dysmorphia, and existential dread can also pose some issues. he shuts down emotionally sometimes, and is at times afraid of what commitment will do to him and his goals. please respect these aspects of his character, they're what drew me to boothill in the first place.

now,,, is it impossible for him to have GOOD... positive relationships? NO! but it does need a lot of plotting and development.

age gaps are a touchy topic for me. i'm not a huge fan of them. yes his age does vary depending on the verse ( between 39 - 50+ ). but if boots is old enough to be your muses father, then i'm not gonna be comfortable with having them be romantically involved. this is just for my own comfort. now obviously with muses that are ancient, or immortal- it's a bit different. all in all. this needs a bit of plotting,,, as most things do with me in the long term.
