The new Mangurian Building at the Jacksonville, Florida @mayoclinic campus has really stepped up their game with the architecture, ergonomically-friendly everything, open concept, charging outlets for devices all over the place, and the Woodruff Bistro is delicious and unbelievable. I have been traveling almost 12 hours [overnight flight from Puerto Rico that was delayed 4 hours, landed in Orlando (chose this destination because it’s a non-stop and have never had an issue w/ JetBlue before) and then drove 2 hours to get here w/ 5 minutes to spare for my blood draw by the always amazing Ms. Carolyn Price], so I was massively starved by this point. I ordered some Baja noodle bowl magic with a vegan sausage and a kombucha drink on the side, and all I can say is WOW. Well done, Mayo Clinic. Well done. I wish I never had to come here and every time I come for follow-ups, I’m still scared, but this is really nice. I would only suggest adding some sort of white noise (ocean sounds, things like that) while waiting in the doctor’s office because the silence is terrifying. You probably already have a meditation room that I need to scope out but in case you don’t, that’s a thought.
