Today you are 7.5 months old, my little love 🥹
You finished all of your lunch and your dinner today! First time! Well done! We think you must be getting hungrier because you are moving so much more 🥰You had spaghetti and mango yogurt. You saw MR today, watched in your chair and you were so funny! 😂 You move from the mat and around the living room. You like the coffee table legs and the chairs and trying to move them! 😩😂 You love to watch Muffin and smile at him. We think he smiles back 🥹❤️ You still come out to hang the washing with mama everyday, like you’ve done from when you were tiny, in the ‘washing trolley’ 🛒 😂 I think this is something you will want to do for years to come! It will be a core memory 🥲 You bring so much joy to all of us. All of the families, friends and strangers who meet you when we’re out. It’s beautiful. You are a blessing and I will always tell you this, my sweet sweet girl. You just snorted like your babi in your sleep 😂🥰❤️ but you’re resting peacefully and you sleep so well. You love your bath times still, we said tonight we think it’s your favourite time of the day 🛁 Mummy is so tired then but it’s one of my favourite times too. I love to get you all fresh and then cuddle you listening to or singing lullabies 🥰 You self soothed well tonight, doing your scratching for comfort, on my arm at times 😂 And then after 10 minutes you were sound asleep! So much achieved in one day! You are amazing! We love you so much little bird 🐦 Sweet dreams 💕 See you in the morning ⛅️ Te dua shum shum shum ❤️
Salt lamp and lullabies. All clean from the bath. Fresh, soft sleep suit on 🦘🐨 🌵 I’m lost in the moment of NOW. And I want to remember everything. Your smell, your weight, your little noises, you breathing. You are 6 months old. Slowing my breathing to try to slow time down with it, for this moment. Every moment is precious but some slip by too fast because I’m busy caring for you and everyone. We laugh and love, creating memories but I love to slow down like this and just savour the moment. This is now. This is love. This is so beautiful. This is forever ❤️

Happy memories I don’t want to forget…
We have a new coffee machine, like a barista style one! It looks so nice! Too busy to try it yesterday so this morning we get to try it! ☕️ Got two ex barista boys in my life, so I need to be taught how to use it! Excited to make fresh coffee in the mornings, take it to the garden, sit under our parasol and read 📚 or just look at our beautiful wisteria and garden 🪴 I can’t think of a nicer way to start the day! We have a bag UE Roasters coffee to start us off and loads of barista oat milk! 🤩 Too exciting!
I drove through Yamasa with my family on a trip to the Dominican Republic. We were in the “campo”, where my mother was raised. I did what my dad always told me not to do, and that was take pictures of strangers.
The car rides through New York and the Bronx were how I fell in love with photography. I had a phone and window to look out of on long drives, and a 12 year old me snapped away at everything she could see.
The car is my origin, and the people of Yamasa became my forbhiden playground.
