I have written the reflective essay for our documentary.

I have thouroughly enjoyed this project, ive improved my editing and filming skills. I have also had a lot of fun working with Richard and George.

I might also take up swing dancing over the summer.

Today, I got to UNI very early to use the editing suit. I finished the edit and we showed it to the whole class today. Our tutors really liked it and were impressed.

We just got back from the Hep cat's Hoiday this morning and it was interesting, I absolutely enjoyed it, we got some fantastic shots, great interviews and a whole lot of dancing with good lighting. Just enough to make our documentary feel complete.

I'm quite tired though, I'll do a little more editing, get some rest and do more editing in the morning as we dont have to show the the final piece until 2:30pm tomorrow.

I have finished the rough cut of our documentary, it looks fine, however I feel we need more vibrant and less scanty shots of people dancing which I am hoping we'll get this weekend at the Hep Cats Holiday.

We will be using an archive footage for our documentary. A Lindy hop dance sequence in the movie Hellszapoppin (1941)

Richard will try to see if we can get the permission for this.

I have started editing our documentary and I have to say, its a lot to do.

Last night we filmed the Swing Cats dance lessons hosted by Rob and Claire Austin.

I really enjoyed it, I feel that we got some fantastic shots, the lighting was fantastic and some really good interviews too.

Of course lots of dancing.

We also got asked to come along to the Hepcats Holiday on the 11th of March, to create a short promotional video for the event at Pontins in Suffolk... very exciting.
