“Doc, what does this button do??” He’s absentmindedly staring at the TARDIS console, hand lingering over a button that looks quite inviting. “What does any of this stuff actually do?? You’ve never explained it.”

       “yeah, well, who wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of it?” rose shrugs as she steps closer, hip braced against the edge of the tardis’ console. ”a lot of them don’t understand. sadness like that, i mean.” can’t grasp how on some days, for some people, it’s so much harder to be kind -- and rose herself has barely scraped the surface of that feeling, compared to the fire some people walk through. “so kindness is just... easier to handle. we all pretty much know what to do with it. you can be sad with me, though, if you want; i won’t mind.” // @doctorthethirteenth + cont.

   “Uh... nothing? What?” All of the things in her hands are hastily half-hidden behind her back, mostly dropped. “Huh? What? No. Uh-uh. Hm? Did you say something?” 

“Excited or concerned, because honestly I’m votin’ for excited, don’t know about you. Do know ‘bout you.“ Actually, this was probably a tiny bit of a big problem, there being two of them, same regeneration and all, but... honestly, she’d met himself before and the universe hadn’t entirely ended. “When all this is done, shall we confuse the gang a little bit? The old how’d-he-get-over-there-when-he-was-just-over-here gag,” or she... whatever. She twirled her sonic between two fingers, “Big monster first though, yeah?”

“Well, no point in waiting, Hollis,” she encourages herself. “Go on in!” She holds her flip phone in one hand and her weapon--a knife, probably won’t do her much good against the Library--in the other and walks toward the door, a woman on a mission.
