On the 27th March one of our first year apprentices, Frankie, hopped on a train and travelled all the way up to Scotland for the 5th Annual Scottish Tattoo Convention. Frankie was asked to be at the convention to customise boots and bags for Dr Martens. Here are a few photos of what she got up to and some from the convention throughout the weekend.

Here at Cobb’s Lane we offer the opportunity for people to tour our factory, it’s a fun way to show off the heritage of the brand and show off what we make here in the UK.

As part of our apprenticeship we’ve all been given tour training and now sometimes part of our day will involve taking a lovely bunch of people around the factory and talking about what we do here.

We often get to tour some of the brilliant people who work in or retail stores. Looking like they have stepped off a catwalk with their fresh, quirky styles and fashionable get up. We met Mia and Ruth from the Neal Street store in London who came for a tour today yesterday.
