Lola, why you being adorable? XD
What do you think of TKO?
TKO is my son and I LOVE HIM. PRAISE THE BOOOOOOOOOOI
Seriously though, I didn't know what to think of him when he first appeared. At first, I thought of him as the rebel/"evil" alter ego archetype you'd find in most media. He made me laugh, he made me wince... I wasn't expecting anything else from him and thought that it'll go with the Jekyll and Hyde route with TKO and KO, especially with the Season 1 finale.
However, everything changed when "TKO's House" aired. While still being the destructive bundle of chaos, there are instances where TKO is his own person and cares for KO deep down (ie. being mad when Dendy used KO as a lab rat, instances where TKO patiently/begrudgingly listens to KO and one moment where TKO stops to take his time and accommodate for both their circumstances, and all the moments up to then where they have compromised). Although they are the same person, I see TKO as his older goth brother. There's more depth to his character and there are hints that he's capable of something bigger and powerful.
The recent episode "TKO Rules" not only has a subtle message, but character depth as well. Like other people have pointed out, both KO and TKO are right and wrong at the same time. I get the reasoning why they did the things they did, but it was so extreme and sudden, people focus on "TKO is innocent and KO is becoming evil" when there's more of a focus of repression. Psychologists suggest that repressing thoughts and emotions, although a natural response, would be harmful in the long run and would most likely become bigger or more stressful when they come up again. Even though it seems like there's no way out of KO's subconscious and there have been hints of KO being "scary" without TKO showing up, there's no way TKO is gone for good. Will he become bigger or stronger fueled with hate? Will he turn into a literal monster? Would he show up before or during the season finale to wreck things up for now? Who knows?
Overall, I just look foward to what happens with TKO in the upcoming future.
