#doc reflection

1.What is the purpose of submitting a video in a writing class? The video is to show that we can be multimedia and to show that we can use rhetorical choices, logos, ethos, pathos in a video. It’s also helps us use different genres to get a point across.

2.Explain how you composed you message (purpose) in multiple forms? Our group used interviews, past videos, text and photos to show our purpose.

3.Why do you think the structure and delivery of the film doc worked to achieve its advocacy. I think the interview of the Utep task director worked the best to support what we were advocating for because it showed creditable evidence of what there plan wAs when concealed carry would begin and how Utep was working to get reedy for the bill to begin.

What was different about your process (think about your approach to completing it, and/or what you did) in completing this assignment than the previous assignments?

Having to collaborate with my teammate was the only major difference of this assignment than all other previous assignments in class. 

If you could do this assignment over, what would you do differently?

Timing would be different, we had maybe four weeks to work on the documentary, we did it all on the last week. It was a stressful week and it was finished the night before.

Why do you think you compose a video in a Rhetoric & Writing Studies class?

1. What was different about your process (think about your approach to completing it, and/or what you did) in completing this assignment than the previous assignments?

-Working as a group.

2. If you could do this assignment over, what would you do differently?

-I would have redone the interviews with less background noise, and a mic.

3. Why do you think you compose a video in a Rhetoric & Writing Studies class?

-So that we can learn to convey thoughts and ideas via different modes of expression. The popularity of YouTube, Vimeo, and other online media oulets means that this is an increasingly important means of communicating with the public.

2. If you could do this assignment over, what would you do differently?

I thought it was an easy assignment, I just wouldn’t have dragged it out as much. However, in the end, we killed it!

Same rules as always. Answer the questions honestly, and mix modes (use images, gifs, vid clips, links, etc.) when/where you feel comfortable.
