I'm really sorry to ask this, and feel free to ignore! But is there anyway you might be able to add a previous link on the pages? If not that's okay, I just have a hard time making sure I'm reading in order and when I catch up I end up reading it backwards ๐ . No worries if not!
Also, thank you for this comic! It's genuinely so sweet and I love your style and the way you use colors! The ability to write a good story and do the art can be pretty hard and taxing, and you do such a good job of it. Thank you!
Haha I'm gonna take it as a compliment that you think I have the mental focus and time to set that up ๐
Unfortunately this comic's archiving is likely to always suffer from the fact its ran by an artist who does not enjoy maintaining lists and stuff. ๐ I try to keep the full comic list updated and the webtoons as well, but I'm sure long time followers have seen how that is going. (Better than I expected though! At least we HAVE an archive!)
I really appreciate your kind words though, and am extremely thankful for people keeping up with my mess despite the trouble๐ It means the world to me.
have you seen the v1 x sans image
huh
That one robot ask has made me think abt a cyberpunk/robot/scifi esque au, oh fuck - ๐น
๐
ooooh i had an idea

abt my tags on that post abt only women would care abt lee geum hwa in beyond evil like that, i said that and then like fully realized what I'd said and how true it is ๐ญ like the way they hold him accountable for what happened to her, even though she's not a "good" victim (aka she's a person that society doesn't rlly care abt bc she of her job and her status as an illegal immigrant), but they make it clear that her murder is smth joo won MUST take responsibility for, even when everyone else is trying to cover it up or forget about it. his insistence on holding himself accountable for this woman's murder, the way they emphasize that even if nobody else cares about her, HE will remember and avenge her. it rlly ties into the theme of missing and forgotten people, and how they are important and the law must start acknowledging them and helping them.
it also reminds me of him saying in ep.14 (?) that he will destroy his father and sacrifice himself for the sake of dong sik's revenge, as an apology and bc he feels responsible as gi hwan's son for what his father did to dong sik and his sister ๐ญ like the fact that his response to both of those is essentially the same is an incredibly powerful statement. it's like even tho joo won might be a a complete asshole, and lack people skills, he still actively CARES about the victims. and that's just one of the small nuances of his character that make him so well-written and GOOD ๐ญ
Totally. That is why when I read your tag, I was like Yes. Absolutely. Like you said I too realised all this after I read your tag. That he's absolutely holding himself accountable and responsible for conducting a sting operation and getting someone k worded. She may be insignificant to the society because of her job, but she's still a human first. The fact that our boy felt that much amount of guilt and Dongsik constantly reminding Juwon of what he did so that he'll have it tattooed in his brain. Listen, this drama is still hitting hard 2 months later ๐ญ I'm scared yet excited to find out what else I might end up realising during the rewatch. I digress a little but there was a whole discussion that started because of the social message of Beyond Evil about adult disappearances in SK that are treated as runaway cases.
I just keep re-reading your tags because Soojin really could have written Juwon off as a brat who wouldn't take responsibility for his actions since he comes from an affluent family with his father being the commissioner. She could have just shown him as going "Oops. So that happened" with some amount of guilt and then he'd act as if nothing happened. But she made him carry this guilt throughout the series. For Geumhwa and for Yuyeon. She thought through how a person would REALLY be when they're the reason for someone getting k worded. Especially a person like Juwon. Who's soo focused on catching the culprit but he became the reason why Geumhwa died.
what are your fav kpop covers of english songs :0
