dnd made me so fucking emotional today my bard’s celestial familiar found out there might be a sick/wounded celestial out in the wilderness and he wanted to go find it and try to help it really badly. we wanted to make sure it wouldnt hurt the city we just helped anyway so we went and found out it was being maddened by one of our biggest antagonists (we’ve seen the mechanisms she uses to do this before, and the celestial had one around its neck). we managed to break it and we get to talk to the celestial tomorrow night and my familiar is just so emotional and so happy because ever since he heard about how most of the celestials in this area were likely killed, and the god that was their friend must miss them, he’s really wanted to try and find any of her remaining friends and we might’ve foUND ONE THAT’S BEEN BEING USED TO ISOLATE THE GODS’ PEOPLE FOR CENTURIES AND I’M JUST SO DISTRAUGHT IT WAS A GOOD SESSION FOR MY FAVORITE TINY BUNNYCORN (ART BY @airagorncharda​)
