Yeah, Dry Juice is really important to the poor baby. Which is why I'm sure he's so adamant on Aoba joining too. I mean, who wouldn't want to have their best friend joining in something that was like a family?
As for Mizuki's actual family, I definitely feel like he had a bad home life while growing up. Like, he'd try to get his parent's attention a lot but he was often ignored so he would start misbehaving instead. And nothing really got better as he got older, so he ended up moving out as soon as possible.
