Seeing his son and daughter get to know one another was a relief off of his shoulders. He had felt so guilty with Nicole, and was worried Kawaii~chan would leave, but as he watched Nekoette, Dmitri, Rollo and Lello run about, he was glad things happened the way they did.
Nekoette was so precious, much like Aphmau in attempting to befriend anything or anyone who came her way. He faintly recalled Garroth’s story about how his Lord had once tried to tame a Komodo Dragon of all creatures, and with a sigh, he ran a hand through his hair.
Dmitri... well, know he knew why everyone told him to wise up as a boy, and what they meant by all his actions would come back to haunt him. He could see a lot of him in his and Nicole’s son... perhaps too much, he thought to himself, remembering how the boy had stolen Katelyn’s weapons and ran around with them.
Ha, he could see them becoming a fearsome sibling duo when they got older, especially if they stayed this in sync as they were now. He watched in amusement, wrapping an arm around his wife’s waist as Dmitri lead a charge with a yell, Nekoette jumping down on Rollo’s head a second later.
Oh, yes, the trainers would definitely have to watch their backs when they came to be of apprenticeship age.
