Warning: Kung 'di mo pa napapanood 'yong movie, don't read this. Plus, this isn't a review. Puro kadramahan at kaartehan ko lang mababasa niyo, so yep.

So, it all started with...

Me: Tatlo pong She's Dating the Gangster. Theater Attendant: May kasama pong matanda dito? Me: Uh, yea... 

Well, SDTG is a PG-13 movie, and I'm actually a young adult, so I really don't understand why she asked that. Baka dahil mukha pa akong bata. Hahaha, joke. 

Honestly, I really waited for that movie. Not until they announced that KathNiel will be the lead stars. Yep, sorry to all the fans of KathNiel out there, pero kasi lagi na lang sila. Pero, sabi nga ng orgmate ko, "Wala sa gaganap 'yan. Nasa movie/story 'yan." So, yep, I ended up watching the movie with my mom and my tita last Thursday. Plus, I really really love the story. I don't have the copy of the original book, but I do have the PDF copy. 'Yong may specific colors per character pa. 

Aw, remembering CC days. *sobs*

Anyways, dumating kami ng maaga sa sinehan. Mahirap na. A lot of people wanted to watch that movie, and I don't want to end up sitting far away from my mom and my tita. So, habang naghihintay kaming lumabas 'yong mga tao bago kami, may napansin akong lolo na parang naghihintay din sa labas. Akala ko nga manonood din ng movie. I even thought, "Wow. Looks like KathNiel is really famous. Even the lolos and lolas love them." Pero, noong naglalabasan na 'yong mga tao, nakita kong umalis sila ng isang lola na nanood ng movie. Aw, sweet. Pero, marami talagang nanood na matatanda. Even our line was filled with adults aged 50-70. And, I really found it amazing. Haha.

So, the movie. The movie was good, actually. There were a lot of differences, between the movie and the book, but who would even care to watch the movie if it was entirely similar, right? One of the differences was the time of which the stories took place.  Although, I think the movie's was better, because it was more realistic. And, well, the ending was different, there were no Kelay and Kenneth in the original story, and some of the parts I've been waiting to see were not in the movie. I was really frustrated, pero paano mo nga naman ilalagay ang isang napakahabang novel sa isang one hour and fourty-five minute movie? Medyo imposible. Pero, hinintay ko kasi talaga 'yong nag-aaway ng bonggang-bongga si Kenji at Athena kasi nakipagbreak si Athena dahil sa sakit niya at ang ginamit niyang dahilan si Lucas. Tapos 'yong part na sinabi ni Kenji, "Pwedeng magkaroon ng ulcer ang lahat ng tao.. Athena kelangan ako ni Bee.." 'Yan kasi 'yong mga heartbreaking na scene, eh. 

Pero, hindi naman talaga 'yan 'yon nakakainis. Ang nakakainis ay 'yong mga taong parang alam nila lahat ng nangyayari sa movie na everytime na may lalabas na bagong character, "Oh, that's Lucas.", "Ah, si Abigail.", "You remember Grace? That's her." I mean, c'mon, guys! Shut th fck up! We're trying to enjoy a movie and you're ruining it. Just so you know, most of the people inside that movie theater knows how the story went. You're not the only one, okay? Ugh. Dagdag mo pa 'yong mga tili ng tili. Okay, I know na nakakakilig at talagang maraming titili, pero, sorry kasi nasanay ako na kapag nanonood ako ng movie tahimik lang, bawal maingay. Maliban na lang kung horror or suspense, siyempre mapapasigaw ka talaga. Sige, pagbibigyan ko na 'yong sabay sabay titili 'yong mga tao dahil nakakakilig naman talaga 'yong scene. Pero, 'yong kada minuto may titili? Ugh. Sorry, pero 'di kasi talaga ako sanay sa gano'ng environment kapag nanonood ng movie sa sinehan.

Anyways, uulitin ko, maganda 'yong movie kaya kung 'di niyo pa napapanood, go na! Don't judge the movie by its cast ika nga. Well, KathNiel actually did a great job in portraying the characters. Hindi lang talaga siguro ako fan ng love team na 'yon. But, yea, awesome rom-com movie. Corny daw sabi nila, pero for sure kinilig din 'yong mga nanood niyan. I really recommend that you guys watch it.
