Waitlist
Hello everyone!
I haven't been posting much because up until yesterday I was stuck in pending limbo. However, things have sort of changed.
I received an email yesterday saying that Disney was impressed by my phone interview however all positions had been filled. Additionally, they said that they do anticipate some openings for the Fall program, so my application will be on file until August 1st.
Basically what all of this means is that I am "in progress" and practically pending for the next 5 months. But on the bright side, I am not out of the running and it is possible that the wait will be less than 5 months should someone drop out or be unable to attend in the near future.
To say that this experience has been emotionally draining is an understatement. I feel that my life has been so entrenched in the Disney College Program for the past couple of months that I don't really know what to do now that I am stuck in this position.
For now, I will plan my life and my fall term as though I will not be attending the Disney College Program, however, I understand that I may need to drop everything at a moment's notice if I am accepted.
