Deaf Lens (8/12 - 8/16)
| DAY 1 |
The class interpreted English songs into ASL, learned about the different “film eyes”, and ran through an obstacle course, filmed themselves, and watched it!
| DAY 2 |
Today, the campers brainstormed their identities for a painting project next class, created mood boards, had a guest speaker and talked about art and ASL poetry.
| DAY 3 |
We had a guest speaker who performed one of his ASL Poems, we started drawing images and pictures of our identity so we can paint tomorrow.
| DAY 4 |
We drew and painted our identities and self portraits, listened to a guest speaker on ASL poetry, and started “The Power of Positivity” project.
