i think aspen is an interesting case because he's so ... mh, hindered i want to say?? in his growth that he doesn't know that many things. it's part of why he has such an innocent approach to things (despite the fact he is self-aware of his lack of knowledge) and people.
which is why he tends to mimic people sometimes and why he tries to learn as much as he can from others.
