DJI Ronin + ZBoard Electric Skateboard, a few weeks ago. No stabilization or speed adjustments.Â
This is a few bits and pieces from messing around in between takes. I really like this setup.Â

This is a GoPro BTS shot from a segment we shot for the 2014 Channies. This marks the first time I rigged my FS700 on the Ronin to a Cinemilled armpost adapter and my Glidecam arm/vest.Â
That particular rid doesn't allow me to tilt the camera, so Star is watching my onboard monitor and making adjustments to headroom. I should probably invest in a wireless HDMI dongle soon.Â
The shot turned out to be our smoothest Car-Jump ever. The up/down motion of the truck was handled by the Glidecam arm, and the roll that's usually caused by acceleration/deceleration of the vehicle was negated by the Ronin. I was able to work with the trucks acceleration and the handlebars to execute a smooth pan to get Jim in the shot, then keep him framed.Â
