Steve froze when he realized what he’d just said. The problem with him and Bucky was that as hard as he’d tried, every single cell in his body refused to consider Bucky as alien. Sooner or later it betrayed him and made him say embarrassing things like that.

What made you ship it? well, they're hot together, and they were actually shoved down our throats during the first few episodes in season one. but after that i kinda got attached to carlos-and-tk, and here we are three years later

What are your favorite things about the ship? i love how the writing doesn't show them as perfect. they're both flawed, and they both make mistakes. they feel real, despite all the shit they get through together, they learn to communicate and to grow together. even when they're broken up, they're still human and they still admit to their own faults and work to make it better (granted, one of them was in a coma at the time, so the working was more towards waking up than anything else)

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? i have several unpopular opinions about the ship, but i guess the one i've always been more vocal about is that the scene at the firehouse after owen's been arrested has been so quickly dismissed as something unimportant that it irks me. to me, shoving your partner and restraining your partner are things that cannot be dismissed in the way the show made the characters dismiss it. maybe it's my own experience projecting here. but even if i do think it was verging toxicity and abuse, i love how it also showed us that our characters are flawed, human, and can overcome anything if they work together.
