At the vet with Sydney for annual bloodwork. I am so glad that I switched vets. She has hypothyroidism and will be going on medication. My girl will be down to a healthy weight in 3 months. Within minutes of being with our new vet, he was able to identify the problem based on her history and my observations and gave me instructions to help her. VET INSTRUCTIONS: continue omega3 supplements, weekly baths with mild shampoo, joint supplememt, and a thyroid medication. WEIGHT: continue walks; I will see an increase in energy and weight loss over the next few weeks and with the weight loss, she'll have fewer joint issues. LESSON: follow your gut. If your vet isn't a good fit, find a new one. I have his health plan a go and it didn't work. I am confident that we're on the right track. #lifewithdogs #helpinghandsveterinaryclinic #keepthetailwagging #rawfeddogs #rawfeedersofinstagram #lifeofablogger #speciesappropriate #frankenbarf #diyrawfeeding #muttsofinstagram #dogpeoplearethebestpeople #kickedoutraw (at Helping Hands Veterinary Clinic)
