The fact that if it says it's "Genuine leather" it can contain other materials and even plastic and you have to look for "real leather" has given me so much grief.
I literally took a craft knife and scraped off the plastic top coating of a belt so I could wear it without shedding and now just have the base to work with but also a pile of black plastic bits that I should throw out but I kind of don't want to

Went to throw away a fast food bag and 100 percent forgot my trash can is on the other side of my room currently filled to the brim with black clothing dye...
Work have delivered me a proper desk for my home office to go with the proper twirly chair they sent a few weeks ago. (I don’t spend all my time spinning round in circles now, you do)
How I am supposed to put it together if they didn’t send any instructions?!

I've decided that since I can't really cut my hair for a long while, I am going to use its length for my future Halloween costume, and go as the Winter soldier...
... but I am trying to find a decent metal left-arm, and it's next to impossible to find it anywhere, it means I have a couple months of maybe some crafting ahead of me.
and by that I mean that I dyed some fabric and it resulted in eye-searing tacky-leprechaun-hat shade of green.
Normally, when you dye stuff at home, the colour is never vivid, always rather delicate and runs easily. But of course this particular thing is holding on to my fabric like nobody’s business, right when I need a pastelle green shade.
Hey uhm does anybody wanna help me pick wall art for a miniature I'm doing??? I feel kinda overwhelmed.
It's a tattoo studio with a white floor and lime green walls. So far the furniture is all black. The door and picture window will be silver and glass, with all black decals. (Maybe a neon sign, but I haven't pulled that off yet, so maybe not.)
And then here's the "wall art" I have. The tallest ones are about 3' tall compared to the room. I also have a bunch of sexy ones. lol The square sexy ones are about 20" tall comparatively.
I was thinking either black or silver frames, or even just sticking square ones on like posters?
(Bc I have hcs for all of my pieces: the artist is butch, queer, middle-aged, and flirty. Her shop is in a strip mall, next to a Mexican restaurant, and both are overrun with queer and alt ppl. Over the years, she's dated or hooked up with like... everyone. She considers them all family. She wears lipstick, bc she likes it, and everyone can tell who she's dating bc they're always marked up. She knows all the resources for at-risk ppl in the city. She does cover-ups for bigoted tattoos for free, bc everyone deserves a second chance. And I love her.)
