One of my WIPs has an ambiguous ending. It worked beautifully to stop there and I figured I could always write a sequel for an ending I loved later if I wanted. Now I've written (parts of) 3 endings. I love them all. I can't decide. And I can't decide how best to post. A series with notes that they're really alternate endings a la "Clue"? Or a choose your adventure "If you think X happened jump to chapter Y?" I haven't seen examples of this, and am curious how others have solved it.
I love both options, but I’ll always choose a series when given the option. Not only does it allow me, as a reader, to leave more than one kudos (!), it allows you as the writer to tag each ending for what it is - and provide a separate summary for each one.
What do the rest of you think?
