Not long after the Coccino Parade, business at the Temple of Time returned to its usual levels. As much as Beta loved working amidst the clocks that dominated the store, she also loved the moments when her shift ended and she could relax in her apartment. This evening was no exception as she looked forward to crashing on her couch when she left the antiques store with Alpha. Dusk descended quietly upon District 3 of Brieve, and for a while Beta allowed herself to be lost in her thoughts, watching the sun begin to set in a haze of orange and pink, Alpha walking just as quietly beside her.

Whether or not this silence would have persisted was never to be seen, as the sight of a particular poster caught the young woman’s eye on a nearby pole outside of their apartment. Curiously, she sauntered up to the poster and scanned it, before pulling away from it with the ghost of a smile on her lips. Oh, if this went through, this was going to be all sorts of fun...~

“Oh, that’s a good idea… I was going to write a poem about it, but I guess a picture will help me remember it better. It might be nice to look back on it someday, to remember all of my prison friends…”

“I can’t stay out here for long, I have to find a place to hide...”

Every moment of staying out in the open was a moment Crona’s life could be in danger. Though he was walking as quickly as he could, his sword Ragnarok in hand, he felt vulnerable, dark eyes darting frantically around him. As usual his mind was reeling with the fears that plagued his thoughts. To avoid the one he ran so far away from, he knew he had to find an isolated place to get away. This was his mission, he had no time for anything else...

Yet as Crona walked across Brieve, he found himself becoming increasingly distracted from his task at hand. Having crossed into District 3, he was astounded by the sheer amount of life that teemed along the city streets. There were people walking nonchalantly all around him, as if they had no worries in the world to cloud their thoughts. There were towering buildings, residences of all kinds, restaurants, shop windows, signs of a civilization Crona had never imagined could actually exist. All of this had been outside for all this time...? How was the young swordsman supposed to deal with anything like this?

Before his fears could claim his mind again, one particular shop window caught his eye. In the display was a stand of small trinkets of various kinds he couldn’t quite understand. Tiny snowglobes, a pocketwatch or two, a necklace that looked like it could have belonged to a princess...

“Oh...”

Crona found himself slowly leaning forward to look closer at the display. He had never seen such pretty little oddities like this, and he couldn’t remember seeing any items of the sort back at home. For a moment he almost completely forgot about what he had set off to do, letting himself admire the inside of the store through the window. He might’ve stayed here for a while, lost in thought, but his gaze shifted slightly to the left, and suddenly it seemed a pair of striking red eyes stared back at him.

Adventure was always a concept Beta could live for. To feel the exhilarating rush of adrenaline that came with a new opportunity felt almost magical to the blonde. She had already undergone more than her fair share of adventures when she was younger, but never in her life had she gotten an opportunity like this. Stretched out before her was an endless world of possibilities, and she wanted to explore it all. Besides...

When had she ever been able to go to an amusement park? One with a water park attached to it at the same time too... To play in a place like this, with Alpha no less by her side, today felt almost magical for her. She had absolutely no idea where to start, only knowing she wanted to see it all.

It was a regular Monday morning when Seo woke up. No classes, since it was summer, and no work, since her next shift was in a few days, due to her taking time off. In reality, it looked like it could’ve been one of the most perfect days to relax, and yet, nothing the brunette saw that morning made her relax. In fact, it just made her creeped out.

All of it started when she looked out her window, and read her feed. Luckily, the goats that some Ren gave everyone seemed to have disappeared. It was creepy how her friend Beta was the first one to get a goat, and she actually accepted the marriage proposal. If Seo were in her shoes, she’d go back to Japan and hide behind her mum.

On her feed, she saw the weirdest message ever. Little do you all know this is just the first in a line of many proposals to come; diego will marry the entire city. you’ll all be his brides, and it’ll go down much smoother than the goat stunt kouen pulled last week. Crap. That shorty was going to marry the entire city? There was no way he was going to marry her, even if she would be the perfect bride. But, Beta might just agree to it again, even if she wasn’t getting a goat out of the deal. And there was no way in hell Seo was going to let her friend run off with a yariman. There was only one way to stop it. But she would need help. And there was one person that would help her, especially since he was against the goat marriage thing.
