The forest does us good. It reconnects us with our soul and brings healing on a physical and spiritual level. I am so grateful to have the possibility to go into the forest at any time. A few years ago, when I still worked in the hustling and bustling of a startup company until I could no longer deny the signs of burnout, I was in an existential crisis. I had to make a decision that was surely already hidden inside me. But I was so exhausted that I could no longer feel which way to go. So I walked for many hours alone through the winter forest, strolled far away from the paths and just let myself and my thoughts go. It felt so good. I had the sense of being accompanied by a greater force and I grounded and reconnected with my soul. It felt as if I had returned home after an exhausting journey. I quit the job immediately and from today's point of view it was the best decision i could make. From that moment on everything changed. I slowly started to search for my own artistic expression. This experience of a deep feeling of being at home in the wilderness of the woods is the best comparison for my art journey.
