ON MY WAY TO KILL YOUR MAN.
There was no way in hell, Klaus was going to let Aurelius get there first. If he can't actually stop Aurelius from going after Sebastian and ending up injured or worse with just words alone, then Klaus is going to do what Aurelius had in store for Sebastian FIRST.
Sebastian knew that Aurelius was searching for him, and while he isn't a being to stay hidden, he, unlike Klaus was still recovering.
What he didn't know was that Klaus was searching for him, too. And what he didn't know was that Klaus was closing in on his location.
Believe it or not, Klaus was going let Sebastian live. It was why Sebastian was able to escape with barely his life clinging to him. Klaus was going to give him a third chance in hopes that THAT close call would have been a message enough to leave him and Aurelius alone.
It probably wasn't enough, but a seraph can hope, right? When he was sure Aurelius wouldn't leave it be and he was going to seek Sebastian out---well...Klaus couldn't have that happening.
"Ah," sebastian releases a breathy chuckle when the presence of heavenly divine assaults his senses. "So you've come to finish the job. You do not have the decencyto even meet me at the isle, this time."
He's surprised that it's Klaus returning, instead of his soul mate. Regardless, unlike Aurelius, Sebastian knows just how capable Klaus is in getting his hands stained with blood. It was why he would have made a perfect fallen angel.
"I trust that Aurelius can handle himself, but I'd rather he stayed away from you. I trust that you understand." It isn't a surprise to see Sebastian nodding. There IS a look of understanding when Klaus looks at him.
"But you also understand that I will not be holding back, myself."
And it doesn't take long for a fight to break out between the two.
Sebastian puts up a tough fight even at the level he is currently in no thanks to the Stars and the lack of the sky strewn isles power in returning his temporarily.
In the end though after a long battle...
Sebastian is on his knees, blood trickles down from his lips and one hand rests over the blade that penetrated him through the heart. He's hunched over Uriel and the sword rings a humming noise as demon blood drenches it.
Sebastian will just come back over and over again.
but I'll do whatever it takes to make sure he stays away. Even if that means killing him over and over again.
Sebastian laughs weakly, blood coughed up and spat onto the ground beneath him.
"And all this for an angel that only worships the ground you walk on because of what you are and not who you are. You truly are a fool to love a monster like him. And that is coming from me."
It didn't matter though. Nothing Sebastian said was anything new. These were things already spoken and thought of. "Good night, Sebastian."
The demonlord's eyes close. From anyone looking at him from behind, it would look as if Sebastian was bowing down to Klaus, but in fact, Sebastian had allowed himself to fall. For now.
