Ditheon
A planet that is so scorchingly hot that it's people had to evolve to deal with the heat. Ditheon's orbit around Navara, the Xinti system's sun, takes it so close to the sun that the majority of the surface is unhabitable. The poles of the planet, where the ice caps reside, are the only place that any bipedal life could have evolved. For thousands of cycles this was true.
The planet was mined for ore - iron, copper and zinc - until it was depleated in recent cycles. The Tyrexian's that lived on the planet have been dispersed across the systems to work on planets in Hermithea and for the Xinti Security Forces
