THE INTERIORS OF ALCATRAZ PRISON ARE JUST A FEW EXAMPLES OF DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF SOCIAL DISTANCING.
THE LARGE <S U P R E M E> SIGN AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF AN EMPTY CITY APPEARED AS AN ANALOGY OF THE VIRUSβS DOMINATION OVER THE CITY STRUCTURES.
THE PHOTO WITH THE TENT WAS TO CONTRAST THE MODERNIST ARCHITECTURE OF DOWNTOWN SAN FRANCISCO AND EMPHASIZE THE EXISTENTIAL DIFFERENCES. MOREOVER, IT WAS AN ANNOUNCEMENT AND COMMON LINK FOR ANOTHER SET OF PHOTOS PRESENTING THE COMMUNITY OF HOMELESS PEOPLE.
THE VAST MAJORITY OF THESE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN ON FOLSOM STREET, MISSION STREET AND FREMONT STREET IN SAN FRANCISCO.
