So I started packing yesterday & my house is a mad house from the clothes EVERYWHERE haha. A few tips for first timers that are overwhelmed from packing! (This list is for packing a car but might help those flying too). 1) DO pack a TRADITIONS box!!!! & pack it LAST in your car. This will make your traditions box on top of everything else in your car so if you don't get everything unpacked on the first day you will at least have your traditions clothing unpacked! This box should have everything you need for traditions (obviously). Your shirts/blouses, dresses, pants, ties, shoes, & whatever else you're wearing to traditions. 2) DO pack your bulky/weird shaped things in suitcases & your clothes in garbage bags. You'll be able to bring more of your stuff this way since it saves room in your car & you won't have to find places for awkward shaped objects. 3) If you're driving from home, make sure your car inspection date doesn't expire during your program! If it does, get it done before you leave!
