When parking for Disneyland, you are subconsciously forming your first impression of the happiest place on earth. You are so close to the happiness! You can park in the “Mickey & Friends” or “Toy Story” lot. The Toy Story lot is generally a little easier to get in and out of than Mickey & Friends. You can also buy tickets into the park there if you don’t have them already (though they’re cheaper if you buy them ahead of time). Note: I did not see any restrooms. The Mickey & Friends lot has a ramp from the freeway straight to the parking structure which is nice. No matter where you park, remember to take a picture of the nearest parking sign with your phone. I have often heard from people judgements of taking a baby to Disneyland. What could a Baby possibly do at Disneyland. Well for one lots of things but my tip today is a pretty easy one. Take them to the animation building. Lay a blanket on the floor an let them just watch the screens and see everything around them. Its cool in there. The baby will love the colors and lights around them and you can take turns with family members to go on attractions around there. You can even change the baby there. The best place to see a parade is by the Alice in Wonderland ride near the bathrooms There is shade there and everything. Not many people know about it.. Try it out. Underneath the Silly Symphony Swings – You may never have noticed, but there is a great area perfect for relaxing built in under the swings at the back of Disney California Adventure. There are several benches right on the water and it’s not a place the crowds tend to seek out. The entrance walkway is just past the swings as you are walking from Mickey’s Fun Wheel. It’s shady, quiet and has beautiful views of the water and Paradise Pier. Attractions don’t close when the parks close, meaning that you can get in a 90-minute line at 10:59 p.m. when the parks close at 11 p.m. and be in the park well past closing.
