⭐ Mason is an Archon, they're a creature in Gnostic mythology, he sees himself as a mechanical alien, which is actually not an uncommon interpretation of Archons by some modern Gnostics.

🦌 Liz is a demon cryptid thing, deer skull head and all that. She's a sort of guardian of nature who lurks in the woods.

⚡ Alastor, 🦉 Stolas, and ☄️ Lucifer are explicitly spiritual alters, being demons I've venerated before as part of my occult practice.

🛡️ Sam is a vampire, since he mostly follows Vampire the Masquerade rules we call him a Camarilla aligned Tzimisce, since that's what he would be in VtM and indeed is his character when we play it.

🐦 Wishe and 📖 Kira are SCP fictives, specifically they're Pattern Screamers, there's a lot of lore on these guys but in basic terms they're things that don't exist, but are sapient, and can be perceived by things that do exist, and the more you perceive and think about them the more real they become.

So, I'm a faerie lich of sorts, at least that's how I see the Valravn myth. When I became undead I basically became a sapient cordyceps outbreak that can jump species lines and transmits more via bites and piercing hyphae than spores. Basically? I'm a zombie pathogen.

My dysphoria is extremely bad this morning and it's stuff not many people will get because it's not like, "oh I need to run on all fours" or something easy to understand. I feel like a failure of a parasite for having just one host. I need to bite and infect and spread and build a damn horde of zombies.

What am I even meant to do to deal with this feeling?

So I use the diseasekin label for trauma reasons, when I was younger I was bullied severely, often being told that if people hung out with me, they would catch something (like a disease), and as such I viewed myself as a disease

Overtime, I've learned to reclaim the label, hence why I chose CWD and Covid-19 (tbh any disease could work, but those are two I just find interesting)

In terms of what it's like, I don't exactly view myself physically as a disease, at least not how you'd think. It's more about finding joy in the idea of seeming repulsive or gross that people would avoid me
