WOW! @nickdimbleby has unwittingly reminded me how old L319 Discovery 3 (LR3) is. The groundbreaking level of technology this mighty machine arrived with in 2004 is something that's still considered premium in today's latest & greatest 18 years later. Without parking on the Range Rovers top-hat & coat-tails or out-squaring the then Defender, the D3 was a difficult balance to achieve – no other vehicle of the time managed to make you feel quite as at ease piling £40,000-worth of luxury into the rough and/or parking next to the king-of-Kings, the Range Rover. The Disco 3 looks like a cross between a solicitora vault and the SAS's company car. And it is massive! A slab-sided handsome box of a thing that’s considerably bigger than the Disco it replaced. In fact, it’s only marginally smaller on the exterior than the L322 Range Rover, but when you're inside it feels as though you could neatly slot & lose a MKIII Range Rover inside this practical colossus. If you're on the fence or you've never owned a Discovery 3/4 then take the leap. The L319 is one of, if not the very finest luxury practical 4x4/motorway cruiser/van/people carrier/camper/Land Rover available (for the money) Pix @nickdimbleby #landrover #L319 #Discovery3 #LR3 #LR4 #Discovery4 #Discovery #landroverdiscovery #landroverphotoalbum #inkyenston #landroverevolved https://www.instagram.com/p/CgTSjvDt9H7/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
