i’ve said this before and i’ll say it again: claiming people are faking being lgbtqia+ for attention, for the lulz, to feel special, etc. just makes people who are already struggling with internalized cisheteronormativity struggle harder

discourse drinking game: drink every time an exclusionist minor says it’s always been LGBT and only LGBT

there’s something particularly exhausting about 16-year-olds who clearly have no understanding of when, where, or why the mogai term was created whining about “mogai tumblr”

there’s no such thing as any group being “inherently lgbt+” because there isn’t one monolithic and static community. our communities change over time; they grow. whether or not a group is permitted within your community is a choice.

like when are people gonna get it in their heads that REGARDLESS of whether y’all think aces are inherently lgbt+ (which again is a fucking worthless question which erroneously presupposes a single monolithic and static community), actively bullying people over their non-privileged orientation isn’t cute, it isn’t funny, it just makes you a fucking bully. and it’s hurting aspecs of colour, it’s hurting otherwise lgbt+ aspecs, it’s hurting aspec women, it’s hurting disabled aspecs, and they are all talking about how that’s happening and you ugly fucks laugh off how you perpetuate oppressive structures because as long as they’re aspec it’s fine
