Me thinking to myself: "people can see me sitting in my power wheelchair right? Like surely the concept of a power chair isn't lost on people so of course they know I can get around in it pretty well & quickly too if im thinking about so I don't understand why me being in public just like everyone else is such an unusual thing for them to understand"

What I really say: "uhhh thank you yeah its nice to be out"

What do people think i do all day? Stare at the wall? Or look out the windows?

My name is Arora, it’s currently my 4th week here at Able Radio and I am loving it! I am a woman who believes my life purpose is to help people; I am a writer, poet, and artist who aims to help people through creativity and expression which is exactly what Able aim’s to do, so it works quite well!

The main purpose of Able Radio is to give our guys a voice, to help empower them and to give them the freedom to express themselves through many creative outlets in a safe, positive environment and you really can see the difference each week.

So, twice a week, starting this week, I will be telling the weird and wonderful tale of life at Able Radio and everything that goes on within our little family.
