the ai names himself 'Auto" (like the wall-e character) (its the only ai character either of them know and he *has* to name himself after an ai for the irony) and hes totally cool with it. yep. hes just. hes just chilling in there definitely trust him bro :thumbsup: sure it kinda sucks that literally none of their friends believe him or dave when they try to tell them that auto exists but hey its cool its fine he can pretend to be dave to talk to them. he can watch dave grow up and become a hero and live his life and do everything he cant. hes cool
after dirk decapitates himself and they end up in the game, theyre just. stuck with his head. its kinda weird. they arent really sure what to do with it, but eventually it somehow ends up in one of the kernelsprites and now dirksprite is a thing they all need to deal with. (they prototype him with a dead seagull from dirk's apartment so he doesnt accidentally fuse with anything else, so now he has the ability to just. screech. he absolutely uses that to make dirks life hell)
dirk and dirksprite fucking hate each other (because surprise surprise the guy that hates himself *also* hates having yet another splinter of himself) and the rest of the alphas arent really sure how they feel about having this weird bird dirk hanging around. theyve got plenty of time to figure that shit out though considering theyre stuck in their session for months waiting for the betas! thatll be fun and definitely not awkward
