Like hear me out. He doesn’t really have much of a home from after the director arc. He was sent back to spawn and then lived in capital city with Theo, but he can’t go back there now. Then he became king, he can’t go back to the castle either obv. This only leaves places he’s been before. And most of the cities and towns he’s been in before are destroyed I’m pretty sure. Sooo.. the only places he can go are the places that most people don’t know about. That house they built. Only Ash, some of his guards, BAT, and Wifies knew about that place. He’d be safe, at least for a bit while he gets his shit together

Who you used to be.
Looking at some of my old posts…. When Theo first arrived, if I remembered correctly, is when parrot and wifies were initially fighting. Like super convenient. They went separate ways and didn’t meet until after wifies death. The thing is Theo seemed very ride or die for parrot pretty quickly. I head canon that wifies planned this. Every time parrot took a step wifies was at least ten steps ahead. He knew they’d get into an argument, he knew what waited in the farlands, he knew the factions, which one parrot would choose, etc. I’m pretty sure he said he became the director after far lands, I can’t remember lwk, but I feel like he was always directing even if he didn’t realize it. The director is just a title. He controlled things before that. He knew that something would happen, even if at the cost of his own life, him and parrot would split. It’d be good for parrot but he’d be vulnerable and need someone there for him. Theo was a perfect candidate. Imagine wifies scouting out someone to take his place and he lands upon Theo. They engage in a short conversation. Whenever parrot mentions wifies, Theo thinks of that short conversation that happened weeks or even a month or so before he even heard about parrot. I know it’s because each protagonist has to have a deuteragonist which is why Theo appeared pretty quickly, but adding a story and head canons and a background makes it more fun.
