I’ve, really missed going out to restaurants to eat. This was taken at the Botanist in Bristol, one of the last restaurants I reviewed before the lockdown! The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we eat out almost beyond recognition in some places. Hundreds of restaurants have closed, never to re-open again which has robbed good people of livelihoods and food lovers of great places to eat, drink and socialise. As a food critic, I don’t know what the future will hold for me? Although I have been writing restaurant reviews for a few years now, it was only in the last couple of months that I started to get my work printed in a local publication. I really do hope that I can continue to do what I really enjoy doing and hopefully progress into other publications?
