Well that rehearsal was less than stellar. Despite being sick and feeling like shit, I went anyway. I could not have been more disappointed about the whole thing. Things I need to work on? Preparation for rehearsals. Explanation of my justifications for why movements need to be made. Dealing with actors who are being rude and or testing my competency as a director. I just.... Am so upset with how that went. Excuse me while I crawl under my bed and try to nurse my headache, cold, and disappointment away.
After nearly an hour, they finally get the fucking fire alarms to stop flashing. Â Just in time for me to have a headache and no more time to get work done before I leave tomorrow

The only reason the editing is so sloppy though is because the show was put together by Larson’s family and friends AFTER Larson died, using a collection of Larson’s music. Either way I LOVE that show and have wanted to be in it for a while.
Yes, this is true.
And it's actually pretty good... I just mean the editors missed some copyediting things so it would have been nice to see the editors/music editors do the editing a little better... but alas, it's great. I'm hoping the production goes well... though I'm getting worried--2 weeks left before performances and we sill need to nail down music and choreography before we can tech :gulp:Â
