This was one of the pyrotechnic setups from last weekends P2 Pyrotechnic course hosted by @tlsfxpyrotechnics. The course is well worth doing. The knowledge, insight and introduction to interesting pyro was excellent. Plus you get lots of hands on time setting up pyro effects like this. This was a three device effect, with a line rocket in sequence with a dirty smoke and a 5 inch naphthalene charge wired in series. The sequence was manually triggered so there was a slight timing miss-step when I fired it, but that can be fixed with two washers and a battery. Kitchen Sink carriers... A brace of @warriorassaultsystems BMF Bergen’s spotted at @seo_milsim Op Wolverine Pt. 2 this weekend. The BMF Bergen is a great piece of kit, has great capacity, large central compartment, lots of small pockets for things like food, cooking gear, spare clothes and the like. It isn’t too tall that it ends up being very tall you, I am average height and it sits nicely on the back, so much so I can run a tactical belt with and a small assault pack and still carry the BMF comfortably as it is designed to sit higher on the back. I have worn smaller packs with less weight in them that have been incredibly uncomfortable, one even left me with a huge bruise on the shoulder where it had dug in as it was being carried, the straps on the BMF distribute the load evenly and comfortably allowing the transport of a lot of kit with ease.
