So this is my Norco Threahold Cyclecross bike. It is basically a cross between a Mountain Bike and a Road bike. One of four bikes I own. It is designed to go off road, with ticker tyres than a road bike that are not as wide as a mountain bike. Gearing is sort of in between that of a road bike and a mountain bike. Today’s ride was an odd one, all the river path around Putney and Hammersmith Bridge area was flooded as a result of the very high tides over the next couple of days. Made for some interesting riding, was glad I but my Goretex shoes on. Challenging week, busy work and shitty weather resulted in minimal outdoor riding. So bit of a ride today while the weather has been less storm like. Hopefully it will be better over the next few days. If I can get my ass in gear I may get a game tomorrow, if I don't will get a ride done. Tuesday post CQB Training ride, and post bike service ride. Actually recoverd after Saturday pretty easily, did had some elbow pain on Saturday and Sunday but was all clear by yesterday. If you ride remember toregularly service your bike. Surprisingly my Norco Cyclecross bike which hadn't had a service in about 1500km was in pretty good shape, only needed the tape on the handle bars replacing which I did and I need a new rear tire, but I will need to wait till the stock is in for the Continental one I am after. Sunday road ride, river path too busy to ride on so we are doing road rides on Sunday now. Traffic was low today and only issues today were by other cyclists not paying attention.
