zeus was tired as fuck about not having his memories. he’d tried everything to jog them himself, but it was no use. he was going to have to take some extreme measures to get his old life back. after some research, zeus decided to go down to the university. there were some scientists there that were researching mutants or something, and maybe they could help him, since... well, he wasn’t really a mutant, but they didn’t need to know that. he knocked on the side of the lab door as he hesitantly walked in. “helloooooo? anybody home? well, any scientists, i guess...?”

ryan wasn’t entirely sure how she’d managed to agree to help paxton out, but she had. maybe she just needed to get her mind off of everything, or maybe she just wanted to feel in control of something again. no matter the reason, ryan sipped her coffee while she waited for the boy to show up. “oh, boy.” she mumbled to herself. she was nervous about this, especially since she really didn’t know the boy she had agreed to teach how to fight.
