SENTENCE MEME ------ @dinguscalled: “come on, you wouldn’t have said something if you weren’t dying to show someone.”
he really shouldn’t have said anything, but there’s this gnawing, scratching feeling at the back of his head that says he has to show someone. anyone. even if they don’t believe him, he can’t keep whatever this thing is to himself. not when his mother is visibly losing her mind in front of the entire town, not when she says she saw something, and not when he has proof of something that might have taken his brother and barbara. “fine,” he says, opening his bag and digging through it.
what he pulls out is a singular photograph, dark and blurry, and he passes it over to robin’s desk. he hasn’t talked to her much--- sometimes they make comments toward each other in class, but that’s really been about it up to this point--- and he expects for her to completely write this off. “that thing,” he says, tapping the corner of the photo, “that thing... what is it?”
