The Dead Sea Siblings has a deeper dynamic that I think should be explored.

For context, @dimensionhoppingtrio2 has made a few posts detailing the dynamics between Hazel Levesque, Nico Di Angelo and Percy Jackson, referring to them as The Dead Sea Siblings due to the sea motifs on Percy and the underworld motifs of Hazel and Nico.

But! there is another thing that adds to their dynamic, Percy is the child of the divine representation of the seas, storms and earthquakes.

There are records that come from a time older than Ancient Greece as we know it, some of these records detail of the seas and of the underworld being represented by the same deific being.

Imagine, Percy Jackson, who felt close enough to Hazel and Nico to view them as siblings, who had always felt a strange connection to them but could never figure out why, why does she feel connected to them? why does every fibre of her connection to the mythological world scream out to stay close to them, to protect them, to welcome them as family with open arms?

For a long time since she's known the children of the underworld, she had asked that same question, until one day she finally notices it, a distant pull, a forgotten memory of a time when the seas and the underworld were connected, this feeling slowly deepens as she talks to Chiron, and he sheds some light upon the forgotten histories and connections of the mythological world.
