Being led to a new potential location was normal protocol for her at this rate. Despite how abnormal things were, and everything she’s entangled herself into, backing out of it or questioning it never really came to mind. Her goals and reasoning for carrying on with it; she’d not only help fix everything and return it to the way they were, but she’d more importantly get back what she lost.

That’s what she was promised, anyway...

That aside, she was informed that she wouldn’t need to exert much for this one; just a relatively simple search. Taking this one alone wouldn’t be a problem either; that’d make her job easier.

Though, she knew better than to entirely rule out assistance; especially given the ‘new’ location that she wasn’t familiar with. As she made her way from the terminal, the overwhelming realization almost immediately settled in; this was going to take some time.....Given how vast the area she’d need to cover was.

How unexpected. Midnight never thought she’d see the day of seeing a supernatural creature roaming around. It seems that she either finished a hunt or that human was unlucky to get in her way. Still, this wasn’t any of her business, but the chance to study such a being up close was once in a lifetime. 

“Ha? Broken? The only one I loved has perished into the grounds, possibly wandering to where else.” Maybe it was her character, but she felt an attraction to people before, but Zero? Zero made her felt something: passion, even going as far to abandon her honored duty.  Alas, by the time she’s recovered somehow, she discovers the resistance has won, && weil has perished. 

“Nah, demons don’t reproduce via hugging. We’re born from the souls of the damned.” ...You know, that’s actually correct, and not.

A sigh passed her lips as the man said some expletives and left, leaving Isuzu to continue... doing absolutely nothing but just lean against the brick wall of the town, flicking a lighter open and shut. For a moment, she wondered what the hell was taking Melanie so long but--

It seemed a newcomer had decided to come into the town while she was waiting. The usual greeter was on her break, so Isuzu was the temporary greeter. Walking over to the newcomer, Isuzu pocketed the lighter and raised a hand in greeting.

“You’re new to the town. Are you here to enroll in the academy?” She asked, knowing how bored she sounded. “I can direct you to the headmistress if that’s the case. If you’re just here to stay for a bit, the inn’s over on the far left. Can’t miss it, it has a bunch of odd flowers in front of it.”
