Okay so I know it’s late but I was thinking what if, when we dream we are actually waking up in another world. Like we just randomly appear out of thin air at various places and times ready to jump into action with these random people from another world. A lot of them aren’t from our world but the people who we recognize from our world could have the same dream at some point but they are visiting from another point in time. What if these friends from another world really become attached to us and sometimes have to wait years for you to return, and that one mysterious guy you fall in love with just patiently waits for you everyday ready to hug you when you come back? What if when you have a recurring dream that stops happening, you are leaving behind good friends that will never get to see you again? What if that creepy monster that sometimes shows up in you nightmares is an evil entity continuously searching through various worlds to capture powerful dreamers so that it can one day escape into our world?
