After about a week or two of invisible visits, she determined what day and even average time that this particular swimming house seemed to be quietest. And yet, people were still here... Granted, it was only one or two others, but if she couldn’t have come here with Steven, she’d rather no one else be there.
But... That was a selfish line of reasoning. She just didn’t want their stares.
In a one-piece as white as her hair she lowered herself rather hesitantly into the water, in the shallows she still towered. It was different from the ocean, calmer, far less intimidating. Yet it was still with remarkable hesitance she started moving deeper into the pool, holding onto the side as she went. Eventually the water came up to her neck, what the walls marked as diving depth. But a young human was sat on the poolside, blocking her access to keep holding to the side as she advanced.
“Uhm... Excuse me...”
“Sorry... I am unskilled in this field...”

Okay, so maybe this isn’t as easy as he thought.
A mere two days without condition and he can alreay feel a difference within his hair. His long, floral-pink locks -- which are usually soft and wavy, like fine silk -- have taken on the consistency of straw, feeling brittle within his grasp. He’s mildly surprised that he didn’t see this coming; after so many years of providing his hair with the vitamins it needed to stay healthy and lush, he’s essentially forcing it through a bout of starvation.
“This isn’t good,” he muses to himself as he toys with his dry, unhappy forelocks. “If it’s become this damaged after only three days...”
... -- Wait. Is someone nearby? He looks up sharply, hoping that he isn’t about to be teased for his somewhat disheveled appearance.
