Day 52, I went read to the kids from the Dignity Foundation. The kids brought stacks of books to the for me to read, and they sat next to me and just listened so intently. Then this one boy came up to me and said “Teacher, I want to read.” He opened his book and started reading. When he didn’t know a word, he would look up at me and shrug his shoulders. This is a horrendously complicated topic. To get an idea, just imagine writing a living will yourself: when would you pull the plug on you? There needs to be a medical counselor to help with this sort of stuff.
